I posted a questions months ago and it was marked as answered. I though it was answered as well, but recently I've been having the same issue again. How do I mark my question as not answered so I can get some traction on it?
Hi, Kassie McCool,
If you're logged in, you should see this button below the answer that was marked correct:
If you're not logged in, I don't think you'll see that.
If the question was marked as "assumed answered," that was probably by me. And if I was wrong, then I owe you an apology for jumping the gun, because that can't be undone, UNLESS there's a correct answer in the thread.
And here's what I believe is the workaround for that situation:
Either select an existing answer as correct.
Or post a comment and mark THAT answer as correct, then immediately select that "unmark as correct" button. That "should" then reset the thread as unanswered.
Clear as mud? :-)
Edit: Oh, and people CAN and do continue a conversation in a thread marked with a correct answer, so if you have a solution and you are still conversing, people who are following that thread should receive notifications of the activity.
Ask it to Frank Field
Awesome! That worked!
