Export a List library that contains a column with html table created from a repeating section

Question asked by tedwards on Feb 19, 2016

Good Afternoon,

I have workflow for Capital Requests, everything was going good. The form had a repeating section for equipment and other information that was required, the workflow built the string and the output to the html table worked great and looked awesome. The problem that I am facing now is that it now time to export all the request to excel and our CFO will manipulate the information to what is required for Senior Leadership.

This is the snippet from what it looks like in SharePoint:

But when exporting to excel or even trying to use access this is what they are seeing:

When going to edit and open the source code of the item all the information is there:

<div class="ExternalClassFF72BB1FB5104E10B9C48AC4C3EADF67">

   <table width="400" border="1" cellspacing="2" cellpadding="4">

         <tr>

            <td style="background-color: #ffffff;">Request</td>

            <td style="background-color: #ffffff;">Equipment</td>

            <td style="background-color: #ffffff;">Yes</td>

            <td style="background-color: #ffffff;">in year</td>

         </tr>

         <tr>

            <td style="background-color: #ffffff;">Blast Chiller system</td>

            <td style="background-color: #ffffff;">3</td>

            <td style="background-color: #ffffff;">1500</td>

            <td style="background-color: #ffffff;">USD</td>

            <td style="background-color: #ffffff;">PST;#GST</td>

            <td style="background-color: #ffffff;">

            </td>

            <td style="background-color: #ffffff;">4950.00</td>

            <td style="background-color: #ffffff;">No</td>

            <td style="background-color: #ffffff;">No</td>

            <td style="background-color: #ffffff;">in year</td>

         </tr>

      </tbody>

   </table>

</div>

How am I able to get the export to include the image, I have just under 600 requests.

Thank you,

Outcomes
