Any benefit to each workflow getting its own History List?

Our team is going through the pains of dealing with mysterious "Workflow Errored" items, and we are creating separate Workflow Tasks lists for each workflow, as this is mentioned as a best practice.

 

Would there be a similar benefit to creating a separate Workflow History list for each workflow?
