Symptoms

Duplicate References are created when using both SharePoint and SmartForms integration .

This was logged with K2 Support and will be corrected in further releases of the K2 Product.

Resolution

Please follow this workaround to resolve this issue:

1. When getting to the screen in the task form wizard that wants to create duplicate references, click the minus signs next to the references to indicate that you do not want to create the duplicate references.

2. Finish the wizard normally and deploy the workflow

3. Now, edit the Task form to manually wire up the references in the output mappings of the open worklist item action:

4. The Form and the Workflow will now be using the single set of references rather than the duplicates which will not have any data.
