Code Fix: When a Send Email task contains no recipients, the error that is logged does not contain all the relevant information
Issue Description
When a Send Email task contains no recipients, and a workflow instance is running, an error is logged in the Host Server log file but does not contain all the relevant information relating to the specific workflow.
Error Message
The following error is logged in the Host Server log file: “SourceCode.Workflow.Common.EWS: ","0 At least one recipient isn't valid., A message can't be sent because it contains no recipients."
Resolution
The fix is available in the following K2 versions:

- Ensure you have the correct K2 version and/or Cumulative Update installed. See KB001893 to see what Fix Pack level you have installed.
- Download the latest Fix Pack using the links in the table above for the version you require.
- Install the Fix Pack to apply the fix.
Considerations
After installing the Fix Pack, an error will still be logged in the Host Server log file, but will contain the workflow, workflow step and instance information. An example of the new error that will be logged:
"SourceCode.Workflow.Shapes.Execution.Mail.EWS: Workflow= '[Category][Workflow Name]', PID= '12', Event= 'Send Email', Activity= 'Send Email'","0 At least one recipient isn't valid., A message can't be sent because it contains no recipients."
