Symptoms

Cannot open uploaded file into a list view unless the list is refreshed
 

Diagnoses

Microsoft and K2 have had some problems.
When opening an uploaded file it will prompt you for an application.
Some times it remembers and some times it doesn't.

 

Resolution

upgrading to IE11 will resolve the issue.
The bug is not on K2's side its a Microsoft issue.
The client has selected to close the ticket as they have a resolution.
