Issue Description

When running the Identity Sync, an error occurs when an Active Directory group description contains invalid characters such as ASCII control or print characters.

Error Message

The following error message occurs: "exceptionMessage : '', hexadecimal value 0x1F, is an invalid character.] ".

Resolution

  1. Ensure you have K2 Five (5.2) installed.
  2. Download the K2 Five (5.2) FP25 from K2 Partner and Customer Portal.
  3. Install the K2 Five (5.2) FP25 to apply the fix.
