Symptoms

Unable to install K2 Connect:
Error 1606. Could not access network location -1.

Diagnoses

Visual Studio 2013 was uninstalled on the server without removing the 'K2 for Visual Studio' client component.

Resolution

Uninstalled the 'K2 for Visual Studio' client component through the K2 blackpearl setup manager.
