Issue

When attempting to use the Package and Deployment tool with your K2 Cloud environment, the following error appears:

 

"SourceCode.Deployment.Standalone.Exceptions.IncorrectVersionException: The Package and Deployment application is not the correct version for the target environment. Please contact K2 to resolve. at SourceCode.Deployment.Standalone.UIManagerAction.EnsureVersionSupported(ISession session) at SourceCode.Deployment.Standalone.UIManagerAction.ExecuteManagerAction(Action`2 action) at SourceCode.Deployment.Standalone.UIManagerAction.CreatePackage() at SourceCode.Deployment.Standalone.Launcher.<>c.<btnCreate_Click>b__10_0(UIManagerAction action) at SourceCode.Deployment.Standalone.Launcher.ExecuteButtonAction(Action`1 action)"

Symptoms

Package and Deployment fails with the error appearing.

Resolution

To resolve this issue, download and use the latest version of the K2 Cloud Package and Deployment tool using the same link from the email that was first sent from K2 Cloud about downloading the tool. The link in the email will always provide you with the latest version of the tool, so keep that email somewhere safe in case you need it again.
