Issue Description

When adding a View containing a read-only Rich Text control to multiple tabs on a Form, the control will only be read-only on the first tab of the Form. This issue occurs when using FireFox or Internet Explorer.

Cause

The Rich Text control internally uses the Telerik ASP AJAX Editor control that has code specific to Internet Explorer and FireFox browsers. This code sets the content editable property to true as soon as the control is displayed. When a tab is then selected, content is changed from hidden to visible which executes the code.

Resolution

  1. Ensure you have K2 4.7 installed.
