Issue
If the workflow includes any of the following actions that has a new corresponding engine v2 action, the workflow will fail with an error message in Instance Details page specifying which action needs to be updated:
- Loop with condition
- Run if
- Branch by condition
- Query JSON
- Apply a regular expression
Error Code
"...an older version of this action was detected. To get the current version of this action, delete the action and re-add the action to the workflow. [Error Code: Workflow.InvalidAction]"
Example error message :
Resolution
- Drag and drop the specific action
- Configure the new action with the same data from the old action
- Delete old action (or disable until comfortable deleting)
- Publish workflow
Additional Information
Starting March 3rd all workflows still published on engine v1 will run on engine v2 if triggered. Given no action issues, they will run on engine v2 without error.
