Issue

When using the send notification action, the workflow continuously sends an email to the recipient(s).
 

 

Resolution

Ensure that safe looping is enabled. 

 

Additional Information

  1. Root cause the workflow has failed and is stuck in the loop causing the emails to be sent 
  2. Safe looping will ensure that no more than the maximum number of loops will occur and then the workflow will terminate automatically, the default number of maximum loops is set to 250 loops.
