Issue

When using RPA to work with data, the question has arose regarding the maximum size of data that RPA can handle in one botflow.

Error Code

You may not receive an error, but the bot may just freeze.

Additional Information

The maximum size is HIGHLY dependent on how many fields are in each record. There is a maximum of 64 fields but there is no determined record limit. The entire file must be less than 2GB in size.

With that being said we have to load that data into memory and Nintex Bot only has approximately 1.2 GB of usable memory.

We suggest you try to keep the maximum size to 10,000 records just to be safe.

Once you run 10,000 records or less successfully through your botflow multiple times, then you can try to increase the number of records, little by little to see what number "breaks" the botflow. But keep in mind that if you encounter any issues, even some time later after you have increased the size of the data, you may want to reduce the data size again to see if that resolves your issue before trying other troubleshooting.
