Issue

HTML5 Designer: Using the Create Reference Event errors at runtime if the reference SmartObject has an & in the name.

 

Error: "Item Reference not found (YOUR REFERENCE NAME)"

 

Legacy Silverlight designer will not allow deployment in this scenario hence this is limited to HTML5 Designer.

Resolution

This is a known issue and will be fixed in a future release of K2.

 

For the time being try to avoid special characters in K2 artifact names. Also see: https://help.k2.com/kb000299
