Issue

When configuring "Azure Active Directory identity federation" in Nintex Workflow Cloud the following error may occur : Error: No connection was established to Nintex Workflow Cloud. If this is unexpected, please contact Nintex Support.
 

 

Resolution

The "Prerequisites for Azure Active Directory identity federation" instructions in the help files need to be followed exactly.

1. To connect Azure Active Directory and Nintex Workflow Cloud, Azure Active Directory requires that a global administrator provides consent on behalf of the organization to connect their system to Nintex's.

2. The Nintex Workflow Cloud user email address and the Azure Active Directory Global Administrator email address must be the same in order to provide continuity between both systems.

3. The organization's Azure Active Directory User Principal Name (UPN) must be the user email address.

No connection was established to Nintex Workflow Cloud. If this is unexpected, please contact Nintex Support.
