Issue
When Document Approval is turned off Documents that were Awaiting Approval remain in this state, and cannot be approved.
Resolution
- If uploading, download or obtain a copy of the Document, If linking obtain the correct link for the Document
- Edit the Document that has Awaiting Approval state in the Document library
- Select the Approval Required Menu
- Select the Replace Pending option
- Chose the file you downloaded or enter the link
