Code Fix: When installing a Fix Pack with an Azure Active Directory user, an error occurs

K2 Five (5.3) Fix Pack 4

Issue Description

When you attempt to install a Fix Pack using an Azure Active Directory user, an error occurs, and the installer prevents the user to install.

Error Message

The following error occurs: “The user DOMAIN\user is not included in the db_owner role”.

Resolution

1. Ensure you have K2 Five (5.3) installed.
2. Download the K2 Five (5.3) FP4 from K2 Partner and Customer Portal.
3. Install the K2 Five (5.3) FP4 to apply the fix.
