Issue Description
An error occurs in runtime when the create reference step in a K2 Workflow attempts to loop through SharePoint list items that contain an ampersand (&).
Error Message
The following error message occurs: “Error on Workflow ‘< is an unexpected token. The expected token is ‘;’. Line 1, position 194”.
Resolution
- Ensure you have K2 Five (5.1) installed.
- Download and install the K2 Five (5.1) November 2018 Cumulative Update from K2 Partner and Customer Portal.
- Download the K2 Five (5.1) November 2018 Cumulative Update FP3 from K2 Partner and Customer Portal.
- Install the K2 Five (5.1) November 2018 Cumulative Update FP3 to apply the fix.
- It is recommended to refresh the browser.
Considerations
K2 Workflows in error state need to be re-deployed and a new instance needs to be started.
