Smart Object Error : Object reference not set to an instance of an object
Diagnoses
The scenario here is when you have a working smart object that is linked to a stored procedure getting data back from a view. Initially this seemed to be working fine but after a while the following error is displayed on the screen. "Object reference not set to an instance of an object".
Resolution
To resolve this issue you must recreate the smart object, so in this case you will have to recreate the smart object that is based on the Stored Procedure. After that the error should no longer appear.
