Dear All,

I am having sharepoint list which is developed with nintex form , And I had given the description to controls .

Now , My client wants to hide the description when he is viewing the items in display mode which is not necessary .

Can any one help me how can I do this , Because I tried to hide via rules . But found luck.

Marian,

I see no rules in helping my task. Because after selecting the Control to when I set my condition , I see there is no option in hiding the "control description."

responsive form is not as flexible in this manner as old form.

to achieve what you want you would need to add calculated value control which would show value of Category field in view mode. the control would need to be hidden in new and/or edit mode.

the control itself would need to have a rule which would hide it in view mode.

so in new/edit mode you would see the control connect to list field including description and in view mode you would see calculated value control without the description

the formula would simply look like: 'Is Display Mode"

it returns true/false
