Hello ,
I have two controls on my form. #1. Choice control where I capture the value (using name) and pass it to #2. SQL Request control as a stored procedure paramter.
When I do Run now I can see that parameter is not recongnized and I see control{kjkj424 ,,,,,, instead of the control name
I am not sure why I have the UK version on the latest farm . I just downloaded from Nintex downloads.
Is this is a version issue . Please help
I have published the form and there was no data in SQL Request control . Then I verified the issue using Run now.
Are you running Nintex Forms version 4.5.2.X? I have a case with Nintex right now because the SQL Request Control is broken in this version. I have many SQL Request controls where I have been able to put in a Calc Control as the SQL Parameter from when I was on a previous version of Nintex Forms. Since I upgraded all my previous forms still work but any new development gets the results that you are describing. And if I edit any of the existing SQL Request controls they break. I would suggest also putting in a support case with Nintex and maybe that will help speed up development of a fix for this.
And now I have a question. Does anyone know how to supply the value of the SQL Parameter using a Javascript variable? I know how to turn the option store client ID in Javascript Variable and have supplied a variable name on the control where I would like to get the value for my SQL Request Parameter. But I do not know how to input the Javascript variable as the parameter value in the SQL Request control. I thought this would be a work around till Nintex development can make a fix.
Thanks,
Randy
@rangelin did you get any updates from Nintex? We have 4.5.2.0 and are not able to execute SQL Request controls with Stored Procedures. We have no issues with direct SQL calls.
Is there a bug ID that can be shared?
thanks
I am having the same issue, unable to pass control value to stored procedure, it works without parameter. Any update on this issue?
