how to set a rule with mulitple checkbox options to know if it is checked of not

Jump to solution

I have a Nintex workflow attached to a Sharepoint 2010 list and one field columns has Display choices of 8 in total, where the user can make multiple selections and I need to know when and which boxes are check so that my workflow can use a "set a condition" or a " Run if" for the next area.  I have tried assigning a choice variable, collection variable and even a multiple lines of text variable as suggested by a co-worker and they havealled failed. Any suggestions?

On your workflow you can get the value of your checkbox with a sample like this >>> [A,C,E,G].

Then you could have a Parallel action with 8 branches and a "Run If" with a condition for each possible value in your checkbox. The condition should be something like this >>> contains(CheckboxValue,"A")
