I have an Infopath integrated workflow where a user could open the form from the provided link and either accept or decline (pretty basic).  I'm being asked if it's possible to to action those items from a link in their e-mail without having to go and open the form.  I'm looking through the forums still but figure I'd throw the question out sooner rather than later assuming I continue to not have luck finding the answer.

Thanks in advance

In fact this is something that will be released as part of 1390, we call it K2 SmartActions and one of the thing it will allow you to do is to respond directly to the task notification email with the desired Outcome, as an example: The workflow has 2 outcomes Approved and Declined once you receive the task notification notifying you of the task you could review the details of the request as with your example by opening the InfoPath form, if happy directly from your mail client hit Reply and type the desired outcome followed by Send.

Any idea when 1390 is slated for release?

SmartActions not listed in http://help.k2.com/en/displaycontent.aspx?id=4010

Does it require InfoPath or SharePoint?

K2 SmartActions moved to the next shipping vehicle (most probably
be 1420). I don’t have any dates at this point as to when this release will
ship.
