I have finally had a chance to install the 4.5 version of blackpoint. It was single server, so relatively painless - once I had added my SharePoint application pool account to the Farm Administrator's group (against the advice of the configuration checker, mind you).
But I came across reference to this beast in the documentation - the 'Deployment Application Pool Account'. There is no information on what this is or how you define it. It sounds like something that might take away some of the pain of security and deployments, which would be a very good thing!
Anyone know if this entity exists and how to configure him (or her even)?
