Workflow starting twice

Jump to solution

I found weird problem with Nintex workflow running on one of my lists on SharePoint 2010. There is a conditional startup set when items are modified and it works fine but runs twice.

I checked whether something changes this status on update, but no. All the other workflows work fine, so the problem isn't in configuration or duplicated scheduler. List was not moved and I was told it worked fine few months ago.

Only problem i found was a lot of event recievers created by Nintex on this list. I would try to delete them, but I don't know which one is responsible for this workflow.

How can I diagnose what's wrong and how to fix it?

Re: Workflow starting twice

your event receivers seems to be for item update not for item insert, so this seems not to be related.

does the workflow starts directly or is it started from another workflow?

anyway, you may try to remove start condition and publish workflow.

it should remove respective event receivers.

then configure conditions once again and publish workflow

Workflow should start only when status is modified by user.

Tried to remove and add starting conditions but with no luck. Still workflow runs twice.
