Symptoms

Unable to configure a smartobject to execute an Oracle package that returns a record set. Returning a scalar record works fine.

Diagnoses

We found that there was a bug with the Oracle service broker. When getting a result set back when using a Oracle "package", the smartobject tester tools stated that we should input the result set as an input as well, even thought the result set was declared as type "out" in the package.

Resolution

A cold-fix was provided to remedy the issue. Once applied, the service broker returned the result set as expected. (This should be included in a future build of K2) If you run into this problem, please contact K2 support and request the cold-fix.
