Workflow Variables is missing in Lookup

Hello,

I created many workflow variables. One varibles is type "Person or group". I browse field "Assignees" in Flexi Task and when I click on "Lookup" then I don't see "Workflow variables" section. I see only sections "Common" and "Item properties". I don't understand what is wrong. This behavior is on all SharePoint server 2010. Never I see it.

Do you have any idea?

Thanks,

Martin

Just a tought

Was Disable Script Debugging enabled in both IE versions?

I just wonder ... do you have the same error in IE 11 with Disable Script Debugging unchecked

Best regards,

Re: Workflow Variables is missing in Lookup

On both IE was enabled "Disable Script Debugging". But in IE10 I got error message and in IE11 no. When I unchecked  Disable Script Debugging in IE 10 I can debug script. Dubugger stoped on Bold line.

function getExistingAssociationFieldsFromConfig() {

var xmlldRef = CreateXmlDoc(GetConfigBlob(dialogArgs.WorkflowVariables));

xmlldRef.setProperty('SelectionLanguage', 'XPath')

return xmlldRef.selectNodes('//AssociationColumns');

Thanks for answer and have a nice day.

Re: Workflow Variables is missing in Lookup

Martin:

It would be helpful to know what version of Nintex Workflow you are using.

I am experiencing the same issue, and running version 2.3.10. I know there have been other releases since this one in 2013, so I think my first option is to get current with the latest SP2010 Nintex Workflow version. I'm hopeful that this will correct per a comment in the release notes reading "Fixed an issue where under certain circumstances it was not possible to use lookup variables as approvers."

For what its worth, I've tried all IE versions via the developer toolbar, and even tried Chrome. None are able to show me an option for adding a workflow variable for the Assignee field in a Flexi Task.

More information... when I have the browser debugger open, I'm seeing the following Javascript errors when I click on the people picker icon for the Assignee field:

- Line: 800 - Error: Object doesn't support property or method 'attachEvent'

- Line: 1653 - Error: Object doesn't support property or method 'setProperty'
