Users are not able to edit the text filed value if it has already contain the value.

Hello Expert,

 

I am using form in workflow to take the approval from finance.

 

Once user submit the form task goes to Finance.

 

Finance can change only change the value of three fields.

 

I make the view disable then

 

Then I enable the three  control for finance to work.

 

The problem is if the control contain the value he is not able to change,if control is empty then only he is able to enter the value in that control.

 

My rules look like:

 

then disable EmployeeLeaveDetails View
then on EmployeeLeaveDetails View, enable purpose_of_travel Text Area control
then on EmployeeLeaveDetails View, enable remarks Text Area  control
then on EmployeeLeaveDetails View, enable work_order_no  control

 

 

Please help me how can i edit the value of the control which already has a value.

Dear Expert,

 

I was wrong.After investing I got that the problem in the field type. If the field is Text Area then user is updating the field but when the field is Text Box user is not able to change the field value..

 

 

Please help me to resolve this issue..

I think the best would be to log a support ticket as this sounds to me like it could be a bug.


 The best would be to get this investigated by support.


 


Also what version of K2 are you running currently?
