Wait for list to be empty

How could I query a list to check if it’s empty or has no items? Basically I have a list A that stores temporary values and items get deleted every time a workflow is run. I need to query list A from list B and start my workflow only if list A is empty, only if temporary values have been deleted.

Re: Wait for list to be empty

@claudiaurbanski What triggers the Workflow on list B to try and run? You could potentially have a query list as the first action then either pause or terminate the workflow. It does really depend on what triggers the workflow to try and run though.

You could try a to query the list, count the items in the collection and then a loop until the number of items in the collection = 0 at the beginning of the workflow.
