Using an Action to switch views on an InfoPath form

I have two views on an InfoPath form, Design and IQ. Once the Design has approved I have a Form Load rule which switches to the IQ view. However I want to build in logic which switches back to the Design view if it's rejected.

To this end I've set up a field in the form and library called 'Approved_rejected' with a default value of 'Pass'. For reasons I can't fathom if I use a Set Field action it doesn't see the 'Approved_rejected' field, so I'm trying to use the Update item and I've set up a second Form Load so that if ' 'Approved_rejected' is selected it switches back to the Design View. The configuration of the Update item is below, am I setting it up wrong or is there a more straight forward way to achieve what I need?

Thanks in advance.

Re: Using an Action to switch views on an InfoPath form

One thing that caught me out was trailing spaces/carriage returns on the field value - in other words, you could be testing that the field contains Pass<cr>

Use a Log in history task just before to show the value, surrounded by visible characters, so you might see

+Pass +

or +Pass

+

of course, it might be something else entirely
