Using Web Request To Update Specific List Items

Hello,

I am trying to update multiple columns in a specific list given a line item ID but I am having trouble figuring out how to format the XML code using a Web Request widget to achieve this.

I was previously using a SharePoint Update Items action, but it takes too long to run (and I am having trouble getting it to work) so now I am trying to get achieve my goal using the Web Request action. The screenshot of the SharePoint Update Items action is below:

What I need is the XML code that will update two columns when a list line item meets the criteria listed as specified in the filter above.

Nintex is installed on an On Premise SharePoint server.

All the lists are on the same site.

Any help is greatly appreciated,

Thank you.

Re: Using Web Request To Update Specific List Items

Hello Nick,

If I don't have to use the web services, I don't.  What do you mean the Update List item is to slow?  It uses this web service in the background. What issues are you experiencing with the normal update item?

I also see that you use the O365 authentication when everything is on prem.  Is this how your environment is configured?  Have you tried it with Windows Authentication?

Kind Regards,

Francois
