We would like to replace our current InfoPath forms in Project Server with nicer, more user-friendly Nintex forms. The issue is that we use custom fields in our forms. InfoPath can pull information from Project Server using a Data Connection. Can Nintex Forms query the Project Server somehow?

You could move the Project Server functionality into the workflow and work with it there, Nintex offers their Project Server for Nintex workflow product.  You'd also be able to use a list to hold the Project Server information and pull it into your form from there (could use a workflow to fill the list).  Alternatively you could use a third-party addon for Nintex forms that allows you to pull information directly from your sql databases and display it on the form for use - see here for this DB add-on:  http://prosymmetry.com/nintex-add-ons/

Hope that helps!

Thanks for the answer! We have the Workflow for Project product already. If we go with the Nintex workflow route, can the workflow run every time the form gets opened? We'd like to ensure the most up to date information. What's the best practice to ensure up-to-date information is populated?
