This is weird,

Created a new project and called the Form My Project Request Form

My Smartobject is called: My Project Smartobject

But my Design and Runtime URLs have My+Project+Smartobject on the end and not the name of the Form.

Any idea why this has happened and how to fix it?

Thanks,

Hi SharpSharp1,

When you created your form, did you right-click the smartobject and choose the "Generate Form" option? Or was the form created prior to creating the smartobject?Usually when "Generate Form" option is chosen, it will generate the form with the same name as the SmartObject itself.

While I dont think this is the case from the way that you wrote your question, please forgive me for asking the seemingly silly questions.

Thanks, and best regards,
Savannah

Hi Savannah,

I'm pretty sure I created the Smartobject first and then did generate form from it.

Why would the form take on the same name of the SMartobject?

I need the URL to send to the users, and if it says Smartobject on the URL address it looks like poor design.

Any way of renaming the URL to the say Form instead?

Sharp,

Once that initial name is set, you can change it but the URL name is set in the K2 database.

The only safe way to change the url, is to right click on your form then do a save as (basically a copy), then re-name it to something that looks better to you.
