Unable obtain logon token, authentication failed.

Hi,

I have an 'Office 365 update item permissions' action in a workflow that should update permissions on a folder in a library, placed on the same site.

It is now returning the error message 'Unable obtain logon token, authentication failed.' and denies to update the permissions. The account doing the permission update is the Nintex Workflow account and it has 'Full control' permissions.

I have been searching google, and I have tried with different settings and accounts, but it does not help.

Anyone have any ideas?

Thank you very much!

Re: Unable obtain logon token, authentication failed.

After being in contact with Nintex Support, I have found the solution to the issue mentioned above.

In short you need to do two things:

- Go To Site Setting > Manage Site Features > Workflow Can User App Permission (activate)

- Go To Nintex Workflow Designer > In the Top Right there is Gear icon > Click this gear > Then click Grant Access To Workflow > Then click Trust it.

Finally the 'Office 365 Update item permissions' action was wrapped in an 'App Step'  action, as shown below.

Thanks.
