Workflow Engine not responding to Approve/Decline Emails

Symptoms


SmartActions functionality no longer works - responses to task notification emails are not getting processed by the K2 server – or at least it’d appear so. We verified the email are being sent out from the user mailbox.

Error Exception:

“61012 Exception from message source XXXXX@appit.com: System.InvalidOperationException: There is an error in XML document (123, 13296). ---> System.InvalidOperationException: Instance validation error: 'OneOff' is not a valid value for MailboxTypeType.”

 

Diagnoses


This error exception will occur on mailbox account that are set to "OneOff" mailbox type instead of normal "Mailbox" type.


 

Resolution

This issue is isolated to a few Appit instances. If you happen to be one of the lucky few please reach out to K2 Support by logging a ticket request for a FIX.

This will be addressed when Appit 1.3 Update 3/Appit 1.4 ships.
