How to create Forms in SharePoint online with table format?

We need to create forms with more than 2 columns, it means we need to arrange multiple controls with their labels in single row.  I have tried but i can put only one label and one control in one row.  So please let us know technique to how to design forms with table format?

Hi!

If you are working with the "Standard Form" then what you need to do is manually rearrange controls, change their widths, etc... to fir everything in one row.


For the "Responsive Forms" just  drag&drop your new field over the another in the same row and you should see a placeholder where you can drop your second field, in the same row. You can as well try to make the existing field shorter:
