We have an InfoPath 2010 form that contains multiple views that are associated with multiple steps in the workflow.  Two of the views are related to K2 InfoPath Form Client Activities.  These Activities use a XML value that we have created to store the K2 Action.

It generates the K2 Task Action dropdown field on the bottom left of the form - we do not want it to appear here, so we drag and drop it into the location we want, but unfortunately K2 does not want it to stay there.

If we remove the field for the K2 Action on the InfoPath Form, close the Form, K2 will inject the field in the bottom Left of the Form.

If we open the Form, move the dropdown box to the place on the form where we would like it to appear, save the form, close the form, K2 will inject the field in the bottom of Left of the Form with a Label: Task Action.

When we then open the form again, we will have a duplicate K2 Action dropdown box.  One in the place where we would like it, and a new one in the bottom Left of the Form.

We can't keep it in the bottom Left, we need it in a certain location.  This is causing a lot of stress for such a minor thing, but unfortunately the business users will not have it anywhere else as it affects how they tab through the screen.

Hi Steven

From what you describe its probably a known issue when the actions dropdown is in a section.  However, the workaround that I use is relatively straight forward.

My workaround and Renier's K2 response are described here:
