Workspace not being able to Load up correctly

Symptoms


This occurs when opening up workspace for the first time after installing K2 Blackpearl.
 

Diagnoses


When navigating to K2 Workspace we are getting "Service Unavailable". All services (K2 Blackpearl server, IIS Admin, World wide web publishing service) seem to be running.

Within the application pool the K2 pool seems to stop from time to time, due to the WAS service which the World Wide publishing is dependant on.

So when you go to workspace, this does not load up correctly.
 

Resolution

Running a reconfigure of all of the K2 components starting with K2 Blackpearl firstly, before smartforms and then the control pack helped in this scenario.

Before this could be done, IIS had to be completely removed as well along with the .Net Frameworks and then reinstalled.

After this you should be able to go to workspace without any trouble.
