Domain useradministrator is not allowed to open the worklist item

Diagnoses

Hi,

Upon upgrading from 4.6.7 to 4.6.11 the application that had been built working, when trying to open a process worklist with the administrator user. Currently using impersonate rights with administrator to open worklist created from other user and then forward these workstation to the appropriated group instead of users.

ClientException: 24411 K2:EADPALMELAAdministrator from 10.10.5.10:2597 is not allowed to open the worklist item with SN=1185175_25 at SourceCode.Workflow.Client.InternalConnection.Call(ArchiveX ar, MessageType msgtype) at SourceCode.Workflow.Client.InternalConnection.CallFunction(ArchiveX ar) at SourceCode.Workflow.Client.Connection.OpenWorklistItem(String SerialNumber, String Platform, Boolean Alloc, Boolean IgnoreStatus, String ManagedUser) at SourceCode.Workflow.Client.Connection.OpenWorklistItem(String SerialNumber) at ead.TratarPopUp.BtnTratar_TratarDocumentos_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e)

Online you can find something similar http://community.k2.com/t5/K2-blackpearl/24411-K2-DOMAIN-k2service-from-IP-Port-is-not-allowed-to-open/ta-p/85216

And you can solve removing the administrator impersonate, because the worklist already appear on the user lists.

We just want to confirm if these was a correction of a previous bug since we had to impersonate to see the specific wolrklist.

Is it possible to confirm if this is a correction of a previous bug that persisted?

Resolution

It appears since the release of 4.6.7 a few changes have been made to the impersonation settings within each release of K2 support.

Please have a look at the following release notes for each version as their is a mention of the delegation settings needing to be manually applied after each upgrade also.

4.6.9: http://help.k2.com/kb001640

4.6.10: http://help.k2.com/kb001700

4.6.11: http://help.k2.com/kb001735
