Re: Scheduled workflows and the Nintex Workflow Scheduler timer job

Do I have to remove the Nintex Workflow Scheduler job from Central admin in order to install it to the web application I want?

What if I install it on the other web app without removing it from Central Admin?

Re: Scheduled workflows and the Nintex Workflow Scheduler timer job

I have the samme issue. I have a scheduled site workflow:

  • The “Microsoft SharePoint Foundation webapplication” service is installed on the sharepoint server. Nintex
  • The “Nintex Workflow Scheduler” is running on the web application the site workflow is created. (A second instance on the central administration is deactivated)

I receive a “Workflow schedule failed” notification.

Any other ideas?

Re: Scheduled workflows and the Nintex Workflow Scheduler timer job

Hi

I have an issue where the loop does not seem to restart (jump to the top and start again) once it has run through.  After doing some tests, I found it only continues after 3 hours.  Could this be related to the Nintex Workflow Scheduler timer job or is the issue with the SharePoint timer job?

What exactly is the impact of multiple NWS timer job instances running?

Also, from this post I cannot see what the reason is for moving the Nintex workflow scheduler, nor what the desired outcome is.  Could you please elaborate?

Thank you in advance!

Nanette

Re: Scheduled workflows and the Nintex Workflow Scheduler timer job

Is it applicable for SharePoint 2016 Nintex workflows?
