Is there a best practice when it comes to purging the progress/log tables on a schedule? My team is trying to redefine our governance policy for our environment, and that's one thing we would like to figure out. Even if we were to go through and put retention policies on all of the history lists that grow at a solid rate, that only gets us half way there.
We have too many sites to go through and purge using the site settings method of clearing out the tables. Does anyone do anything programmatically to purge their tables on a schedule, or something else they recommend for a large environment?
