We are using DocuSign with integration of Nintex for digitally signing the documents. We are using Ad-hock method to send document as its not possible for us to use template. We need to make Signature fields on Document mandatory for end user. Until user drag and drop Signature from left hand side panel user should not be allowed to finish the signing process.
We created custom fields but receiver of this document could not see option for these custom fields.
Is there any way we could achieve this.
Hi Manish – I’d be happy to assist, but please provide more specifics as to your particular situation. (including version & Edition of Nintex and SharePoint, and a detailed summary of what you have started on so far and what you are stuck on.)

We are using Nintex 2016 on Premise with integration DocuSign. We don't have admin access for DocuSign it is controlled by Client, we have user access for it, where we can create template, custom fields and other details.
Scenario for DocuSign is as below:
We have system where user can create different type of request. Based on type of request created by user we are generating HTML and converting that to .pdf and that .pdf will be sent for approval using DocuSign.
We could achieve this by Nintex using actions like "DocuSign Send Document", "DocuSign Retrieve Envelope Status" and "DocuSign Download Document." Problem with sending direct document for signing is we are not able to make Signature field mandatory as mentioned above.
We tried to use template but we were not able to add html dynamically in template which we had generated for request. This html is not fixed, it vary based on request.
We are looking forward to make Signature field mandatory.
Based on this, I would use the Nintex Document Generation action to merge data from your Nintex form into a Word template, which you can save as a PDF file. Within the word template you can embed "Anchor text" (tags) that can be replaced by DocuSign with various controls such as a Signature or Initials. You can set those controls to be Required.
Anchor text are special text values you can add to your document. You can map the text in the anchor tag to fields in DocuSign so that DocuSign looks for those tags and replaces them with the desired field.
See https://www.docusign.com/supportdocs/dfs-user-guide/Content/user-guide/use-automatic-anchor-text-wit... for details on using Anchor Tags in the DocuSign help.
