Have you tried reconfiguring Blackpearl so that your host service and window service ports are 5555 5252 respectively?

Is this a learning vm? I'm asking because the error message shows k2.denallix.com. You can run a K2 repair on the K2 blackpearl setup manager > Repair K2.
Also, is your K2 blackpearl service down? Has rebooting the machine resulted in the same error?
