Problem setting up lazy approval in Central Admin SharePoint 2013 on-prem

When I enter the email address (lazyapproval@nintexqa.Nordstrom.net) in the lazy approval Central Admin section I get an error - the ULS log showa:

Error establishing database connection. It seems to be that some part of your last installation on your Nintex Workflow update failed.

Try installing the last Nintex Workflow update.

Hi Robert,

Please make sure there is no database upgrade available after product upgrade. To confirm this, please go to your database page in Nintex workflow management and if you can see there is a database upgrade option make sure you perform it.
