How to bulk import when there is a Repeating Section?

With the Aug/2019 update, Repeating Section control was implemented. Yeah!

My question is how to bulk import items into my list items?

Normally I use copy from Excel and paste in Quick Edit view.

Also, when looking at fresh results from saving manual entries, all the fields in my Repeating Section appear blank in Quick Edit view.

Any ideas/experiences on a method that works?

Apparently when moving fields into a Repeating Section Nintex clones the properties of the field and generates a unique internal field name. The original fields in the item list are no longer connected with the form and can even be deleted.

You then have to insert one row into the form to get these unique internal field names and the structure of the XML that is stored in the connected column created by the Repeat Section.

Use that structure as a template to produce within Excel.

Then copy/paste in Quick Edit view (with matching column order) will work for many rows at a time.

When the copy/paste data amount is too large then Windows buffer management messes up. In that case select less rows at a time and do the copy/past multiple times.
