Hi,

SAP Information:

For SAP, i have configured K2 Connect with SAP Connection string and i have specified credentials within connection string and credentials are not of any doamin user or service account. it's just for accessing SAP.

for examlpe: my doamin user is doaminabc and password is 123, and in connection string user is abc and password is 12345.

What i mean to say is user name is same but password is different. So credentials used in connection string are not of any domain user.

i am accessing smart object with K2 Service account.

am i doing wrong?

should domain user (account used for accessing K2 or any user that interract with K2) should have permission on SAP?

Please help me with this issue.

SAP integration Smartobject will usually require the one of the authentication option below:

1.  K2 SSO (http://help.k2.com/kb000360)

a.  Manual Approach:  https://www.k2.com/onlinehelp/k2connect/userguide/current/default.htm#single_sign_on.html

b.  Automated Approach: http://help.k2.com/kb000360

2.  SAP SSO

http://help.k2.com/kb000689

3.  Using Static Authentication; such that anyone will be able to execute SMO against SAP
