Panel Expression not working

I have business requirement in which I need to check current user and if he is manager (This is list column) then display the panel else hide it

In Panel >>  Appearance >> Visible >> Expression >> fn-IsCurrentUser(Manager) (Manager is the list column)

I am not able to view the panel in any case.

Please help me

how do you store manager's name in 'Manager' column in the list?

place two calculated value controls somewhere aside on your form.

for the 1st set formula to 'Current User' and for 2nd set formula to 'Manager' list field. preview/run your form and let see what exactly you compare.

I have request user to select his manager in the List Form and sending mail to manager

when manager received the mail then based on current user  i will display manager panel.

I am confused, how to get current user in calculated field. Please help

in the calculated value control configuration click on an icon next to formula box and in formula builder select 'current user' fro common tab
