Re: Nintex version upgrade from 3.0.2.1 to 3.4.1.0 for SharePoint 2013

Hi!

  1. Check out this site for update instructions: https://community.nintex.com/t5/Nintex-for-SharePoint/Nintex-Workflow-2013-Product-Update-Process/td...
  2. You can directly upgrade any Nintex 2013 version. All updates contain all the stuff of former updates as long it's for the same SharePoint version
  3. For a 2 Server Farm the upgrade should not take more than 10 to 15 Minutes.
  4. Not really, just make sure to not forget to update the database model after upgrading (by navigating to Central Admin -> Nintex Workflow Management -> Database Setup -> hit the "Update" link)
  5. Go to Central Admin -> Nintex Workflow Management -> Licensing. The international version will show "international" while the english version won't.

Hope this helps.

@praios81  thanks for your response, another 4 questions

1. How much time will it take to upgrade the Nintex database

2. Do we need to publish the workflow instances again?

3. Do we need to do anything with SP content databases ?

4. From where shall we download the latest installer.

Sure thing.

  1. The update takes less than 5 minutes.
  2. Nope.
  3. Nope.
  4. You should have access to the customer portal https://customer.nintex.com. From there you should be able to download the installers. If you don't have access I recomment you reach out to your Nintex partner. They can provide you with the login details or installers.

Best regards
