I am new to Nintex. I am trying to use Nintex workflow and forms to create a recruitment portal. I want to have a page that reads all available jobs from SharePoint list. Each job will have an apply button that will open form to apply for that job.
What I suggest is to have the SharePoint list (ie. Vacancies) shown on a SharePoint Page, filtered if it is still available or not. A separate list is created to handle all the applications (ie. Applications). That is the form users will fill in when applying for a job.
To make the connection to both lists, an additional field is added to the Vacancies list, that holds the URL to the NewForm of the Applications list. This can be accomplished using Nintex Workflow (https://community.nintex.com/t5/Nintex-for-SharePoint/how-to-set-a-hyperlink-field/m-p/17698). To make sure the application is related to the correct vacancy, a URL Parameter (VacancyID) can be added to that link. For example, the URL can be as follows; /sites/RecruitmentPortal/Lists/Applications/Forms/NewForm.aspx?VacancyID=2
