Nintex Forms - Javascript for submit/new form and submit/redirect...

Jump to solution

I'm not terribly savvy with javascript, but I feel like this is probably an easy solution for someone who is. I have a form that I'd like to replace the 'Save and Submit' button with a 'Save and New Form' and 'Save and Return Home' buttons.

How do I go about adding that javascript and what would the code be?  Or are there any good resources that you could point me to in order to learn it myself...?

Thanks,

Troy

You can add a button on the form and change it's type to javascript for it to run code. A good example of this would be Print Button - Nintex Forms .

From the form layouts you can use the Redirect URL setting for redirect.

Redirecting in the JavaScript method may be difficult as you must have the SharePoint save completed before the redirect is called.

Could you use the Form Webparts to display the form on a page instead? Then you can apply a confirmation message, redirect, or stay on the same page.
